The Site:
This site was published on July 15th, 2001. There are bits still to be completed, most notably, I have not yet done the pictures page, and only one piece of media is on the Media/Articles page. These will be completed as soon as possible!
Buffy The Vampire Slayer:
Although Buffy has changed to the UPN network, this means nothing will change, except they will have more money to spend on the special effects, and other things like that, or as Amber said on Live and Kicking, more money for her salary! Tara will remain as a recurring character, although she will not be in the beginning music credits.
Chance:
For those of you who don't know, chance is an indie movie that Amber herself has written, produced, directed AND starred in.... and footed the budget herself (with the help of the chance auctions, and the sale of signed pics) I don't know how she does it all but I know it'll be excellent. Below are the links to various sites:
At present, filming has finished, and the movie is in post production, plus the second round of auctions (apparently props. etc) are set to happen early July, so fingers crossed that means very soon.
Trip to the UK:
Throughout June and the beginning of July, Amber took a trip to see all her fans in the UK (yay for us lot!!)
and did a number of signings at forbidden planets all over the country. She also appeared on Live and Kicking on 2nd June along with Anthony Stewart Head where she was interviewed and took part in a live web chat and answered my question!! The transcript can be found on the Media/Articles page. Also, on 11th June, before her Forbidden Planet signing in London, she was on the Big Breakfast, where about 12 people dressed up as characters from the show - Amber chose her 2 favourites, and they went head to head in the final to win the chance to interview Amber herself - congrats to The Sci - Fi Bard who won!!!
However, the main reason for her visit was to attend Nocturnal 3k, a Buffy and Angel conference held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Heathrow, London, every year. This was Amber's first time, but everyone who went had great things to say about her (of course!) and the funny stories she had to tell. Hopefully, she'll return next year so I can go!
